Test Analyst

Job position: / Type of work: IT

What you will focus on {do}:

  • Learn about newly developed product features, explore, analyse and test them
  • Challenge assumptions / requirements / specifications and test them
  • Cooperate with other SCRUM team members in order to deliver products that satisfy client needs
  • Own the testing domain in the SCRUM team
  • Coach SCRUM team members in testing in order to improve team output
  • Use different testing techniques based on product and feature analysis which should be a best fitting blend of exploratory testing and automated testing using tools such as FitNesse or Selenium
  • Comprehensively report found bugs in TFS
  • Provide test support to product releases

What you should know:

  • Strong knowledge of the manual testing (e.g. Integration, System, Regression, Smoke and Sanity Testing)
  • Knowledge of the testing best practices, preferably ISTQB
  • Knowledge of SQL and XML
  • Understanding of automated testing and ability to learn new frameworks
  • Strong command of English language (both verbal and written)
  • What you should have:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually to achieve shared team objectives and drive process change
  • Experience working with a in development team using Agile methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions

It will be nice if you have or know:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent area
