SW Tester

Reporting to:    Head of IT Delivery & Development or their designated representative

Type:                Full time (40hrs) and permanent

Background

This role will be working with the Value-Added Products team within the larger team of Information Technology Delivery & Development (ITDD) which is part of Creditinfo’s Global Technology business unit. It will report the Head of ITDD and be based in the Creditinfo office located in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Role

The SW Tester´s responsibilities range from functional and non-functional testing of the client requirements, to validate the final product meeting all the specified criteria and specifications.

Key to the role is regular communication with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to have a comprehensive overview of the functional and non-functional requirements of the Creditinfo products/projects.

The Test Analyst will prepare test cases covering all the features in the systems in order to deliver final product that meets the client needs and to review results.

Responsibilities

Both personally and through the involvement of other team members, the SW Tester’s core responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Working closely with architects, analysts, developers and other stakeholders to understand their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues.
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback.
  • Recommend and execute improvements.
  • Validate technical and business documentation.
  • Validate user documentation for the client.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Prepares and recommends test cases for User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participating in the deployments and validating the final release.
  • Ensuring and validate solutions meet business needs and requirements/specifications.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar position
    • within credit management, banking or finance industry advantageous.
  • Fluent English – mandatory.
  • Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
  • Strong personality, stress-resistant, excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Full-time employment (40 hours) with working week Monday to Friday.
