RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building credit, fraud, debt collection, churn & propensity predictive models and products that will be used by leading financial institutions
  • Lead/execute analytical projects from solution development and data integrity evaluation through solution documentation and implementation
  • Validation and calibration of existing scoring models
  • Support the development of new analytical and data products and services, and the enhancement of current processes and offerings
  • Work jointly with IT team to deploy models into production environment
  • Come up with creative ways to find and use data that will help to make better credit decisions
  • Assess the potential usefulness and validity of new statistical approaches and data sources
  • Leverage multiple complex data sources such as credit bureau information and other public data sources information at large scale

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics or other quantitative discipline (Bachelors’ degree with significant relevant experience will be considered)
  • 3+ years of business experience, preferably in the financial industry / risk management or in statistical modeling / data analysis
  • Expert knowledge in one of the statistical programming languages such as R or Python, and database languages such as SQL
  • Experiences with data extraction, cleaning, analysis and visualization; experience with non-structural data is a plus
  • Experience in leveraging machine learning techniques such Gradient Boosting, Random forest or NeuralNetworks would be a plus
  • Understanding and habitual use of coding best practices / model documentation requirements
  • Self-motivated, impact-oriented, enthusiastic, and a creative thinker.
  • Good understanding of the English language, both verbally and in writing, Russian is a plus

OFFERED MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: from 2500 EUR
