Business Development Manager (Languages required: French & English)

The business unit

Manages a product lines in various countries around the whole geographical presence of Creditinfo group. It represents a specific part of business with the main focus on intragroup clients and their needs. The responsibilities range from strategic planning to functional analysis of new features, the creation of roadmaps and development plans of various markets, planning, costing & pricing strategies, pre-sales and support to Sales team so as to close deals or prepare RFPs.

What we need

The Business Development Manager will primarily act as the interface within the company and Creditinfo’s (intra group) Credit Bureaus, maintaining the relationship with the client and being the single point of contact for the client in business related topics.
He/she will provide coordination between our business functions i.e. Information Solutions or Decision Analytics for IT development, delivery & support personnel and the client.
He/she will work closely with each team towards the achievement of company and client goals, ensuring smooth and efficient service availability is maintained, support is effectively provided, improvements are coordinated and that client requirements are incorporated in our products.
Initially, the global territory to be managed is Morocco, West Africa, and Mauritania where French is the most commonly used language.
Travel to these regions will be frequent, and will vary depending on client and business need. At present we predict that around 25% of the time the job holder will be away in these regions, the rest of the time they will be in our Prague office.

Responsibilities in brief

Be the bridge between the (intra-group) client(s) and the company, ensuring the needs are recognized, described, processed and implemented using the right processes and approach, connecting the right departments and people and keeping the relationship and happiness of the client. Act as a Key Account manager for the selected portfolio of the client and help the development of client’s business in mutual benefits for all the related parties.

In detail

• Interact and act as a bridge between various internal departments and external parties to resolve customer and sales related questions and problems.
• Liaise and develop relationships with customers and other stakeholders such as Regional Managers and Country Managers within Global Markets.
• Ensure that questions and requests that arise from Creditinfo’s Credit Bureau are directed to the correct place internally for resolution and escalated if required.
• Create and maintain 1-year roadmaps for each market.
• Project coordination and delivery of small projects below 100 MDs.
• Help with development of the Group companies to ensure business continuity.
• Ensure that customers are kept fully informed of developments/progress relating to their issue to prevent further queries.
• Manage the process flow internally for all client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Contracts ensuring all relevant parties carry out actions to provide Global Markets Division with coherent and timely responses for Creditinfo’s Credit Bureau.
• Pro-actively monitor customer requests and pro-actively contact customers (internal and/or external) to advise early of problems with meeting commitments.
• Answer and respond to incoming calls and emails from customers and Global Markets Sales colleagues, working to resolve questions and problems independently.
• Adherence to Business Unit Objectives.
• Ensure KPIs measures are met.
• Other duties of similar responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Relevant working experience (at least 5 years, can be various) in the field(s) of Finance, Banking, Customer relations, Credit Bureau, Decision analytics, Risk analytics, IT and related fields.
• Extensive experience in customer service including direct customer contact and query resolution experience is a big plus.
• Project management experience, PM certifications are a plus.
• Full communication skillset, interpersonal skills, goal-oriented approach are the right qualities.
• Good command written and verbal of English (B2/C1) and French (B1/B2) language mandatory.
